Mwanza, June 3, 2025 — Tanzania has taken a bold step toward digital agricultural transformation with the official launch of KijaniSpace, a groundbreaking initiative that integrates Copernicus Earth Observation data and IoT technologies to promote climate-smart agriculture.

The event, held in Mwanza, was led by the Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO) and Mwalimu Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MNUAT), and brought together key stakeholders from across sectors—government, academia, private enterprises, farmer associations, and community organizations.
